<em>"I applied to UTMB school of nursing and they received ALL of my application information. They were so backed up that they ended up losing my application and it never was processed. Maybe it is due to how the nursing programs make it hard for applicants to get accepted. I even hear of programs accepting 30 students and have recievd over 900 applications. So, what do the other 870 applicants do? Wait another year to re-apply? The entire process of getting into nursing school is hectic. I am not saying they should make it easier, I am just saying they should re-evaluate their criteria.<br />

<div class="textn">The United States is projected to have a nursing shortage that is expected to intensify as baby boomers age and the need for health care grows. Compounding the problem is the fact that nursing colleges and universities across the country are struggling to expand enrollment levels to meet the rising demand for nursing care.</div><div class="textn">The <b>American Association of Colleges of Nursing</b> (AACN) is concerned about the shortage of Registered Nurses (RNs) and is working with schools, policy makers, kindred organizations, and the media to bring attention to this health care crisis.</div>Admissionshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16466989796094809273noreply@blogger.com0
